So often the word hustler is used in tandem with scammer, user, illegal business. I think this was a much older idea of a person who worked a independent yet taboo income such as drugs and prostitution.
But why is that? Why are adult workers considered "Hustlers" not workers? Adult workers/ entertainers provide a sought after services just like any other worker. Unfortunately adult entertainers work in a field that the general population is embarrassed about and that is sex.
Dentist are not Hustlers right ? They are doctors and employees. A Teacher teaches a cook cooks and we all need education and food to survive , we also need sex.
Our desires met and acknowledged and just like everything else we need someone to provide this service. If a man seeks out a exotic dancer to enjoy his evening cure is bordom and loneliness he was not hustled. He wanted something , he purchased it, and it was provided HOWEVER in the public eye it's easier to say he was tricked or hustled then say he satisfied a sexual need.
When I think hustler I think a con artist. Someone who manipulates another into something they don't understand or want. There is nothing more plain as day then a adult entertainer 🤷🏿♀️ choose your kink, find a provider, pay for your service same as any other.
This is why it should go without saying sex work is work....not a hustle. Many men and woman provide a very healthy income and use it to take care of families ,homes, self care and the same as any other person. A adult entertainer is a service provider who is sought out by customers.
I think the misconception needs to be addressed and adjusted in order to help sex workers/ adult entertainers attain the respect they so desire.
